On Thursday February 5th, we ripped around the Ossington area, popped into a few of our favorite accounts and handed out samples of our beers to anyone in attendance.
Here are a few photo’s from Burger Shoppe, The Painted Lady and the Dakota Tavern.
Located on the hippest stretch in town, the brand new Burger Shoppe Quality Meats has taken the restless improvement to its logical extreme. This is perhaps the best burger joint in town when it comes to quality, freshness, atmosphere and of course, pint selection.
“The idea is to recreate old classics in healthy, modern way,” explains owner Saeed.
Our next stop was just a few doors down at The Painted Lady. The Painted Lady just recently opened on Ossington and is a welcome addition to the area – very funky spot and a perfect place to enjoy a pint with friends, dates and future ex’s. The bar at TPL is one of the best we’ve seen and the image of this lady on the wall caught my eye.
As we were leaving the Painted Lady we ran into Sean from the Dakota and made the short walk down and across the street to one of my favorite spots in Toronto. The Dakota Tavern is a good ol’ fashioned saloon with solid live music, a friendly atmosphere, a warm vibe, a few plaid shirts and loads of Bourbon and great beer including CAMERON’S Auburn Ale. You could hear the live music from the street and each step we descended downstairs revealed a packed house enjoying the funky country of Mr. Rick and the Bisquits. We squeezed our way through the crowd handing out samples of Auburn Ale and stayed to enjoy the first set from CUFF THE DUKE.
Thanks to Burger Shoppe, The Painted Lady and the Dakota for you ongoing support and for a great night.
