Oak Aged Wins Silver Medal in the 2011 Brewing Awards
Last Friday the Canadian Brewing Awards selects the top brews in 31 categories. 20 different breweries across Canada enter the contest. CAMERON’S proudly walks away with a silver medal for the first edition of the oak aged beer in the “Wood and Barrel Aged Beer” category.
CAMERON’S has now won over 45 medals in the past 14 years we have been open. “The Canadian Brewing Awards are Canada’s only national competition that invites breweries of all sizes from across the country to compete in a blind tasting to see who brews the best beer.” said the Beer Geeks who continue to explain, “A Canadian Brewing Award medal is a widely recognized symbol of brewing excellence in
Canada. A panel of approximately 20 Certified Beer Judges consider five criteria: aroma, appearance, flavour, mouth-feel, and overall impression.”
You can still reserve your bottle from the second edition by calling the brewery at 905-849-8282.
