Karen Vaz is an Award winning chef who began her cooking career at age six. On television.She appeared on “Just Like Mom” and wowed the crowd with her Tuna Sandwich.

Graduating from the Culinary Arts program of George Brown College, Karen has been with the Rebel House for over five years now.Karen’s use of local fresh ingredients to creats seasonal menus has earned her praise from all local publications.

At Summerhill LCBO tonight with Cameron’s Brewing, Karen will be creating a few dishes to be enjoyed with beer in particular. The Rebel House has been a Rosedale institution for 15 years now. With 16 craft beers on tap, their philosophy of ’serving local favourites to our local favourites’ has gained them a huge following. Toronto Life rates The Rebel House as one of  the city’s best ‘gastro pubs’.
