Cameron’s is very excited to introduce its newest seasonal:
Rye Pale Ale – The RPA
Cameron’s Rye Pale Ale was originally brewed for the 2011 Bar Volo IPA challenge, earning 2nd Place combining the best parts of these styles and adding the character of rye, we achieved a robust and unique brew. This fusion is hazy orange-amber in colour, with a well-constructed white head. It begins with an up front citrus aroma followed by a complex malt body with a hint of peppery rye which releases earthy floral British hop flavour on the finish.
It is made of a combination of seven different floral British and pungent American hops, some which are added in a dry hopping process. This involves adding hops directly to the fermented beer in the fermenter. The hops are well supported by a large malt bill of five character malts with a generous portion of rye which contributes to mouth feel and Cameron’s Rye Pale Ale’s own special character.
It continues to get rave reviews. The Globe & Mail wrote recently, “… it’s graciously balanced, hiding its 6.6-per-cent alcohol well. True to billing, it’s strongly bitter but it’s by no means a hop monster. There’s a delectable malty richness in the middle, with inviting fruit flavours of apricot and orange, plus a graceful floral quality more….”.
The Beer Advocate gave it high marks as well more…
Our Lager
Cameron’s Lager is a pale golden coloured brew. This beer is never rushed… it’s fermented cold and long to create its premium taste. It has a malty character, medium body and noble hop flavor. The term “noble hops” traditionally refers to four varieties of hops (Hallertau, Tettnanger, Spalt, and Saaz) which are low in bitterness and high in aroma. Our Lager is crisp, fresh and great for easy drinking occasions. Naturally carbonated, Cameron’s Lager is our lightest tasting beer and a true crowd-pleaser.

Reviews
“Inspired by the Bohemian pilsner style, it exhibits more bitterness than the average lager lover might anticipate, and I like that. Malty-sweet at first, it dries up nicely on the clean finish.” – Beppi Crosariol
“Wow” -Albino Rhino
“The flavour was very smooth. Nicely malted and very crisp. Not even remotely close to the big brand adjunct lagers! I can see why it has won a bronze medal at the Beer World Cup.” -OneBeerAtaTime
Now available in cans!
Cameron’s Cream Ale is the beer that started our company. It has a rich smooth body and leaves zesty aftertaste. It’s brewed with Canadian six-row barley and specialty hops from the UK. It contains hop notes that are carefully balanced by a fruity backbone. Cameron’s Cream Ale is fermented with ale yeasts, though not in the warm conditions that produce an overly heavy body. This makes it a great crossover for drinkers who are accustomed to a lager’s briskness, but who want a brew with a slightly rounder body. Cameron’s Cream Ale is a dimensional beer that is refreshing in the summer and comforting in the colder seasons.

“Of the entire Cameron Brewing’s family of fine beers, Cameron’s Auburn Ale is my favourite by far. They put a lot of effort into this beer, and it shows.” -UnitedNationsOfBeer
Don’t be afraid of the dark! This rare breed of beer was originally brewed as a one-off draught for one of our specialty bars. The demand for a return was so persistent that that we had to bottle it and share it with everyone. Cameron’s Dark 266 is a deceptively dark brew that is much lighter tasting than one would anticipate. It’s crafted with lager yeast and imported dark malts from the UK, Germany and the US. The dark lager is crisp and refreshing like a North American Lager, but with the flavour complexity of a stout. One try, you’ll “have a dark side” too.

This unique brew is whiskey barrel-aged for 120 days. It comes in a 750ml bottle and is made once a year for a limited time release! Its complex character evokes notes of caramel, chestnut, strong malt, vanilla, subtle hops and of course, whiskey! “The body begins smoky and whiskey-y, and continues very much in the same vein, adding raisiny notes, lots of vanilla and some tobacco leaf hoppiness, and remaining sweet throughout with caramel malt and some praline notes.” -Stephen Beaumont
“Out of the bottle, the beer instantly grabs some attention with its rich and slightly hazy chestnut-mahogany body capped with a moderate sized off-white head.” –beerboozebites.com
