Cameron’s F.A.Q.

What does the date on the case mean?
The date code on the package means the date the product was packaged on. We are now using  Alpha Numeric code with a 3 digit production number.  For example, if the date on your Cameron’s 6 Pack reads:  C2312 it correlates to C=March,  23=Day,  and 12=Year.

Why don’t you use a clear or green bottle?
At Cameron’s Brewing we go to great lengths and expense to produce one of the finest beers that money can make. Therefore, we also want to use a bottle of equal quality. To us, it really makes no sense to do otherwise. The amber or “Industry Standard” bottle that we use provides excellent protection against light damage. Light struck beer tastes and smells “skunky”; something that you are very unlikely to be subjected to from a Cameron’s beer. The new “industry standard” bottles we use will go on to be re-used 15 to 20 times, making it a wise choice to help reduce waste.

Is a 9-pack the only size that you sell?
No, the 9 pack is not all that we sell. In addition to offering a 9-pack we also offer multiples of the 9-pack – an 18-pack and a 27-pack, and all three are available at the Beer Store. In addition, at the brewery we also offer 24 cases and kegs.  Our dark beer called Dark 266 comes in a 6 pack and available at select LCBO’s in the GTA and at our brewery.

How did the Dark 266 get its name?
Our first test batch for the dark beer turned out so well that we decided not to alter the recipe at all. The log number of the test batch was #266. To read a complete story about the history of Dark beer and more specifically ours  click here.

Do you offer tours?
Yes, we currently offer tours Saturday from 12-5pm and will begin offering Sunday tours starting in May. Due to safety issues we can not run tours during bottling runs so it is best to call in advance – 905-849-8282.

Where can I buy your beer?
You can buy it at our Retail Store at 1165 Invicta Dr. in Oakville as well as  The Beer Store and LCBO,  You can also check our website under Buy Cameron’s for a list of  the many bars and restaurants  that carry our beer as well.  If our beer isn’t available at your favourite location please ask them to bring it in and we will do everything we can to make sure they become a happy customer.
