The Imperial Pub, Julian Taylor and CAMERON’S Brewing partner to promote to up-and-coming indie artists
There’s an exciting new venue and opportunity for up-and-coming indie artists happening in Toronto every Saturday night. Singer, songwriter Julian Taylor who is best known as the front man of the former Staggered Crossing band is booking indie acts to appear on stage at the hip and lively Imperial Pub. The Imperial is located at 54 Dundas St. E. in the heart of downtown across the street from Dundas Square and the Eaton Centre. The series kicked off in September with three exciting new acts. Cover ranges from just $5 to $10 – that’s less than the price of a beer per band! AND all of the money goes to the bands.

In his own words: “We continue to operate on their grandfather’s formula: that nothing beats a cold beer in a friendly place. “
The Imperial Pub is quite sprawling. Stroll around with your pint and check out its many rooms including the Aquarium Bar, Library Lounge, Back of Ye Pub and the Rooftop Patio. Its open from 11am to 3pm seven days a week.
