CAMERON’S Releases Forager Wild Ale
Foeder-aged beer exclusively available at select licensees and at the Brewery
Oakville, ON – January 19, 2018
The Cameron’s brewing team has released a new foeder-aged beer, this time drawing inspiration from what can be found foraging in the fields for the gifts of mother nature. “Our last foeder-aged beer Boreal Inspired Wild Ale, was very well received and we are pumped to share this very limited release beer which brings the flavours of the fields to your glass,” says Jason Britton, Cameron’s Brewmaster.
Aged for 10 months in a 3000 litre oak foeder, Forager is crafted with a light body of wheat and Canadian malt, allowing brettanomyces and lactobacillus yeasts to come to life. Hand-foraged dandelion, ethically harvested bee pollen and layers of light rosehips and rose petals give it an understated character. The rare Barbe Rouge hops build on the red floral notes given by the rosehips and deliver a touch of red berry tones throughout. Light and refreshing, Forager is delicately sour with subtle tones of lemon and a nose that reminds you of the wildness of the fields.
